Founder & CEO
Tyler and Kiersti Casebeer have been married for over two decades, raising their two children on a small horse property in Southern Oregon. Kiersti grew up on an alfalfa farm and has spent her life immersed in the world of horses—raising, showing, and caring for them with dedication and heart.
Tyler, a mechanical engineer by trade, thought he understood what marrying a horse girl meant—until he found himself fully immersed in the never-ending rhythm of feeding, mucking, and fixing, realizing that horse life demands both grit and a deep love for the lifestyle.
Driven by a shared passion for horses and a practical obsession with efficiency, the idea for the Smart Sifter was born. For years, Tyler tinkered with designs to streamline the repetitive, time-consuming task of stall cleaning. But it wasn’t until Kiersti took on additional stall work for a local trainer—and began to feel the toll in her shoulders and back—that the couple decided it was time to turn concept into reality.
Smart Sifter is the result of their combined experience: Kiersti’s lifetime of hands-on horse care, and Tyler’s engineering mindset. Together, they’ve created a tool designed to make stall cleaning faster, easier, and less wasteful—so horse lovers can spend less time sifting and more time doing what they love.
